Iftar Items Distributed by S.K. Foundation in Kutubdia Para

February 28: S.K. Foundation distributed iftar items among underprivileged and low-income families at the premises of Kutubdia Para Government Primary and High School in Cox’s Bazar town. The humanitarian initiative, organized ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, was attended by local dignitaries and leaders of various social and political organizations.
The chief guest at the event was humanitarian figure Md. Hefaz Uddin (Noyon), Founder Chairman of S.K. Foundation, Cox’s Bazar. In his speech, he said that affluent members of society should stand beside the underprivileged. “Ramadan is a month of restraint and compassion—everyone should come forward to fulfill their humanitarian responsibilities,” he added.
The keynote speaker was S.I.M. Azgar Kamal Azad, former Councilor of Ward No. 9, Cox’s Bazar Municipality. He described the initiative as timely and thanked the organizers for their efforts.
Special guests included Humayra Begum, former Councilor and General Secretary of Cox’s Bazar District Mohila Dal; Abul Bashar Kawsani, President of Ward No. 9 Jubo Dal (BNP), Cox’s Bazar Municipality; Mukitin Yane Kawsani, Organizing Secretary of Ward No. 9 Jubo Dal (BNP), Cox’s Bazar Municipality; and Mukul Bashar Mabi, President of the Civil and Road Construction Workers Cooperative Society Ltd., Cox’s Bazar.
Among others present were Md. Gohorul Rahman Sohel, a prominent social worker, along with leaders of various social and political organizations, local dignitaries, media personnel, and residents from all walks of life.
During the program, guests handed over essential iftar items—including rice, lentils, cooking oil, chickpeas, and dates—to needy families. Speakers called upon affluent members of society to step forward and contribute more actively to humanitarian causes.
The organizers stated that such charitable activities would continue in the future. The program received overall support from Messrs. S.K. Corporation.
